Part Time Customer Service Associate - Tool Rental

About This Role

As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you will provide top-notch customer service, helping customers find products, locate merchandise, and solve home improvement challenges. This role involves interacting with customers, organizing merchandise, and ensuring all their needs are met, primarily within the Tool Rental department.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing supplies on shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to enhance customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout

Requirements

• 6 Months Experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology (smartphones, tablets)
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information; 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets. 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
