About This Role

Manage a remote branch library, performing standard library duties, customer assistance, material selection, and organizing programs for children and adults. Supervise volunteers and provide computer and information literacy training to the public.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard library duties including automated circulation and resource-sharing
  • Provide customer assistance and promote library services
  • Select new materials and remove old materials
  • Monitor overdue books, shelf read, and file
  • Organize programs for children and adults
  • Collect and report statistics
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers
  • Attend meetings and events related to County Library District subjects
  • Provide informal and formal training in computer and information literacy to the general public
  • Perform general office functions as required

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field
  • 1 year of library experience
  • 1 year of responsible office, classroom or customer service experience
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License
