Teach undergraduate courses in Land Surveying on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis at Kennesaw State University.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Land Surveying, primarily at an introductory level including Surveying I and Surveying I Lab
- Adapt to various teaching modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online
- May be assigned courses at either the Kennesaw or Marietta campus
Requirements
- A Master's or terminal degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Geospatial Systems Engineering, Geographic Information Sciences, or a closely related field (at time of hire)
- OR a minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline (at time of hire)
Qualifications
- A Master's or terminal degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Geospatial Systems Engineering, Geographic Information Sciences, or a closely related field, OR a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
Nice to Have
- Record of past teaching at the undergraduate level
- Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
- Experience with ESRI GIS and other Land Surveying-based software products
- Experience with AutoCAD
