About This Role

This full-time, non-tenure track faculty position is responsible for teaching undergraduate digital animation courses and contributing to departmental committees within Kennesaw State University's School of Art and Design.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses in the BFA in Digital Animation program
Serve on departmental committees as assigned or elected

Requirements

Master's degree in Animation or closely related discipline
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites and in software related to 2D and/or 3D Digital Animation

Qualifications

Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Animation, or a closely related discipline

Nice to Have

Industry experience and an established record of professional achievement
Online teaching experience
Familiarity with industry software such as Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Harmony (including Toon-Boom and Storyboard Pro)
2D and/or 3D animation production, interactivity, design, and technology
Expertise in a secondary area of specialization (e.g., motion graphics, illustration, sequential art)
