Provide expert palliative care consultation for oncology patients in outpatient settings, collaborating with a supportive interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans. Lead program development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational efforts within the Supportive Oncology Program.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert palliative care consultation for oncology patients in outpatient settings
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, pharmacists, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients/families
- Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational efforts
- Lead the Supportive Oncology Program as Medical Director
- Drive the advancement of supportive care services
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration
- Shape strategic clinical initiatives
- Teach medical students and residents
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
