This role involves operating a commercial truck as an owner-operator, either solo or as part of a team, transporting freight while prioritizing safety and efficiency. Owner-operators will benefit from flexible payment structures and various support programs.
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial truck as an owner-operator
- Transport freight for J. Boren & Sons
- Utilize dedicated lanes available for solo and teams
- Participate in profit sharing programs for fleet owners with 2+ trucks
Requirements
- At least 23 years of age
- Valid CDL A
- 2 years of experience
- Must own their own truck (2016 or newer Class 8 truck)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- No more than 3 non-DOT preventable accidents
- No more than 3 minor moving violations in the last 36 months
- No failed drug or alcohol tests
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience operating a commercial vehicle
