This role is for an Owner Operator truck driver (solo or team) responsible for transporting freight across the U.S. and taking advantage of competitive percentage rates. The position offers dedicated lanes and weekly home time, with a focus on driver satisfaction and safety.
Responsibilities
- Transport freight as an Owner Operator (solo or team)
- Utilize percentage rates for optimal earnings based on market conditions
- Operate new trailers for 100% no-touch, 95% drop and hook freight
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate with 24/7 dispatch for non-forced dispatch
- Manage truck maintenance for a 2016 or newer Class 8 truck
Requirements
- At least 23 years of age
- Valid CDL A
- 2 years of experience
- Own a Class 8 truck (2016 or newer)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- No more than 3 non-DOT preventable accidents
- No more than 3 minor moving violations in the last 36 months
- No failed drug or alcohol tests
