Overnight Stocker

About This Role

This role is responsible for ensuring all Center Store merchandising areas are well maintained and stocked overnight. The Overnight Stocker will perform all duties with a sense of ownership and a team approach, providing excellent customer service by ensuring the store is clean and ready for business.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products to support in-stock conditions
• Stock and rotate items on Store shelves, grocery, frozen, Wall of Value, drugstore, general merchandise, and all merchandising fixtures
• Build, stock, sign, maintain, and take down Store displays as directed
• Check shipments for out-of-date and damaged product to ensure freshness and quality
• Report all out of date and damaged product received issues to the Center Store Manager
• Report missing signs and tags
• Organize, clean, and prepare prep areas, wareroom, and sales floor for incoming trucks
• Eliminate cardboard and trash on shelves and merchandising fixtures
• Clean shelves and all merchandising fixtures; keep sales floor area clean and safe
• Adhere to all SOPs for safety and sanitation

Requirements

• Minimum age 18
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
• Ability to work overnight schedule
• Initiative and knowledge to complete all tasks
• Dependability
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, and manage in excess of 85 lbs

Qualifications

• Experience stocking or experience in retail preferred
