Travel Reset Merchandiser

About This Role

The Travel Reset Merchandiser performs merchandising resets and small fixture installations for new store construction and remodels, ensuring compliance with blueprints and planograms. This role supports daily business activities in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising resets and small fixture installations for new stores and remodels
• Dismantle, assemble, and place a variety of retail fixtures, including specialty merchandising units and displays
• Ensure fixture plans are set by blueprints and merchandise is set by planogram
• Follow up on construction, electrical, plumbing, or painting needs as required
• Clean fixtures and shelves, arrange and place products according to blueprints and plan-o-grams
• Restock account inventories, following Code Date Policy and ensuring product rotation
• Maintain product placement schematic integrity during re-merchandising projects
• Comply with all safety program requirements, Store Inventory Management (SIM), and POG SOPs
• Conduct POG Audits
• Use technology to connect electronic shelf tags
• Greet customers and guide them to appropriate sections
• Cover stores outside designated territory as needed

Requirements

• Ability to decipher plans/prints
• Ability to work with crews to meet time expectations while maintaining work quality and safety
• Ability to move fixtures on wheels
• Understanding of floor plans and fixture placement drawings
• Ability to read and understand directions and instructions on smartphones or tablets
• Knowledge and ability to use hand tools, including power tools
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and travel out of town for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 86 pounds, reach, climb ladders, stand, bend, pull, push, twist, and kneel
• Possession of a personal vehicle

Qualifications

• High school, vocational, or Associate's degree
• 0+ years of experience expected. Experience desired includes home improvement stores, big box retail, pharmacy, planograms, national rollouts, remodel, gondola, new stores, national racking standards, and Gondola/Retail Fixture installation. Prior construction experience is a plus.
