Outside Sales Associate

About This Role

Promotes and sells Core & Main services and products to meet sales targets, generate revenue, and respond to customer needs within an assigned territory. Maintains high-level customer service with existing clients and develops relationships with new clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service support for existing customer base in assigned territory including sales and delivery
• Manage sales volume with an existing customer group and assist with prospecting to expand the customer base
• Service and maintain orders to customers within assigned territory
• Participate in pricing for assigned accounts
• Work with DSM but require autonomous decision making for outside territory
• Partner with customers, vendors, credit, and A/R to resolve customer service issues
• Identify customer products needs and consummate sales

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline

Nice to Have

• External sales experience
• Familiarity with technical product lines
