About This Role

Concentra is seeking an independent orthopedic surgeon to provide non-surgical and surgical specialist services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries, collaborating with medical and therapy providers to help patients return to work.

Responsibilities

  • Treat patients on-site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis
  • Assist in the management of medically complex patients
  • Expedite return to work and functional restoration
  • Provide specialist services, both non-surgical and surgical, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries
  • Communicate with employers and take an active role in case management

Requirements

  • Licensure requirements of the state of practice
  • Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
  • Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university

Nice to Have

  • Experience in treating patients with work related injuries

Certifications

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery (Required)
