About This Role

Support and enhance Oracle Cloud HCM applications as a Functional Consultant, focusing on post-go-live activities, configuration, user engagement, and quarterly patch management. This role involves close collaboration with HR and Payroll business users to address day-to-day operational challenges and gather functional requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a functional Oracle HCM consultant supporting Core HR, Absence Management, Learning, OTL, and Redwood UI
  • Work directly with business users to conduct discovery sessions, understand operational challenges, and gather functional requirements
  • Lead and support post-go-live activities, including troubleshooting, system stabilization, and continuous improvements
  • Guide users through Oracle quarterly HCM updates, assessing functional impact and supporting adoption
  • Plan and execute retrofit testing for quarterly patches to ensure functionality of existing configurations
  • Lead and support SIT and UAT cycles, including test planning, execution, defect triage, and resolution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve inbound HDL load issues, with data validation and error analysis
  • Configure and maintain functional setups across supported HCM modules based on evolving business needs
  • Configure and maintain Absence Plans, accruals, eligibility profiles, and balances
  • Design, develop, and maintain Fast Formulas for absence, validations, and business rules
  • Support day-to-day user issues, providing functional guidance and system expertise
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve integration and data-related issues

Requirements

  • Strong functional experience with Oracle Cloud HCM (Core HR, Absence Management, OTL, Learning, Redwood UI)
  • Proven experience supporting post-go-live Oracle HCM environments
  • Hands-on experience with HDL data loads and troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of Oracle HCM quarterly updates and retrofit testing
  • Experience leading UAT and SIT with business users
  • Hands-on experience configuring Absence Plans and Fast Formulas
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with HR and Payroll users
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in New York, NY

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Oracle HCM integrations and reporting
  • Exposure to Payroll or Benefits modules
  • Prior experience in large enterprise or regulated environments
