About This Role

The Operations Supervisor I acts as a liaison between Pike Engineering and clients, overseeing design staff and ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves communicating with clients, mentoring employees, and coordinating efforts to ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the organization’s vision and strategy, demonstrating initiative and personal accountability.
  • Exhibit high standards of business ethics and adhere to key values and principles.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure productivity and responsiveness of Pike Engineering employees.
  • Assist in the transition of new employees through orientation, logistics, and training.
  • Meet regularly with client supervision/management to review service effectiveness and address concerns.
  • Coordinate with Pike Engineering’s Manager, VP, and PE to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal codes and client standards.
  • Communicate with employees to ensure productivity and progress, addressing concerns with management.
  • Direct project workflow.
  • Communicate regularly with Manager or VP on issues, activities, and accomplishments.
  • Ascertain customer satisfaction survey for employees in staff augmentation positions from the client.
  • Provide formal employee appraisals for assigned employees with Manager or VP approval.
  • Assist in marketing design/engineering services to existing clients or prospects.
  • Approve all employee timesheets for accuracy and timely submission.
  • May be deployed as Field Manager during major storm events.
