Operations Program Manager, Payments

About This Role

This role involves improving the efficiency and effectiveness of product development within the Payments organization by scaling core payment processing products.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Payments product team to understand priorities and bottlenecks to ensure successful product launches
• Streamline processes and workflows, identifying and removing bottlenecks in the product development lifecycle
• Own operational tasks currently managed by Product and Engineering, especially those involving user scaling or automatable patterns, to enable the product organization
• Manage user communication for technical integrations, informing customers about product changes and necessary updates
• Lead beta programs and controlled rollouts, defining scope, participant selection, feedback collection, and acting as point of contact
• Perform data analysis and manage customer feedback, leveraging insights to improve products, especially during beta testing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operations program management, product operations, and/or product management
• Excellent program management skills with experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple functional stakeholders
• Ability to run programs with multiple workstreams, quickly gathering context to drive outcomes and decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to speak to leaders across different teams
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in "influence without authority" environments
• Experience facilitating meetings with a strong focus on driving goals and outcomes
• Critical thinking and first-principles thinking, with the ability to question existing processes
• A "can do" attitude, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Customer-centric and strategic mindset, demonstrating strong customer empathy and focus on user experience
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations program management, product operations, and/or product management

• Experience working with SQL and using data to identify trends, generate insights and solve problems
