Assist Field Engineers and Office Engineers in field and materials management, gaining an understanding of the construction process. This internship provides an opportunity to evaluate a potential career with Hensel Phelps after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractors
- Review submittals
- Develop RFIs
- Perform layout and surveying tasks
- Prepare daily reports
- Support quality control and safety plan initiatives
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture or Construction Management (preferred)
Nice to Have
- Pursuing a 4-year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture or Construction Management
- Experience with Prolog, Primavera, and AutoDesk Suite
