This internship provides an opportunity to understand the construction process and assist Field and Office Engineers with field and materials management, evaluating a potential long-term career with Hensel Phelps.
Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractors
- Review submittals
- Develop RFIs (Request for Information)
- Perform layout and surveying tasks
- Prepare daily reports
- Support quality control and safety plan implementation
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Current enrollment in a 4-year degree program
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture or Construction Management (preferred)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Prolog software
- Experience with Primavera software
- Experience with AutoDesk Suite
