Operations Associate

About This Role

The Operations Associate plays an essential role in Gopuff's operations, focusing on picking, packing, receiving, and managing inventory to ensure timely delivery of everyday essentials.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers
• Receive and unpack pallets of product from vendors, ensuring inventory matches purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders
• Clean and organize the sales floor and overall facility
• Manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practice
• Prepare quality beverages and food menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage packaged for delivery
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Maintain kitchen facility organization and standards to manage waste
• Prepare, package and stage/handoff orders

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to work a fluid schedule including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts)
• General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Google G-Suite)
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Entry level with preferred experience in restaurant or retail environment
