About This Role

Join the expanding Division of Pediatric Neurology as a full-time, clinical, non-tenure earning faculty member, providing care to children and adolescents with neurological conditions while contributing to the education of house staff, medical students, and residents.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat neurological conditions in patients aged 0-21
  • Provide inpatient coverage as an attending on a dedicated neurology inpatient service at Tampa General Hospital (TGH)
  • Participate in the education and training of house staff, medical students, and residents
  • Engage in academic advising and related activities
  • Represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or Statewide committees

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service
  • Completed Child Neurology residency
  • Board-eligible in Child Neurology
  • Unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain before employment)

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization

Nice to Have

  • Board-certified in Child Neurology
  • Fellowship in neonatal neurology, epilepsy, headache, stroke, or behavioral neurology
  • Experience in academic medicine
