Join the expanding Division of Pediatric Neurology as a full-time, clinical, non-tenure earning faculty member, providing care to children and adolescents with neurological conditions while contributing to the education of house staff, medical students, and residents.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat neurological conditions in patients aged 0-21
- Provide inpatient coverage as an attending on a dedicated neurology inpatient service at Tampa General Hospital (TGH)
- Participate in the education and training of house staff, medical students, and residents
- Engage in academic advising and related activities
- Represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or Statewide committees
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service
- Completed Child Neurology residency
- Board-eligible in Child Neurology
- Unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain before employment)
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization
Nice to Have
- Board-certified in Child Neurology
- Fellowship in neonatal neurology, epilepsy, headache, stroke, or behavioral neurology
- Experience in academic medicine
