Provide comprehensive administrative support to a division or specific departments, acting as a liaison and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. This role focuses on maintaining organizational flow and assisting staff at all levels for a 3-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between supervisor and other departments, external contacts, vendors, and clients
- Provide prompt and professional service to all internal and external clients
- Prepare and distribute internal communications and serve as a central clearing position for general information
- Oversee and process day-to-day administrative items including mail, packages, expense reports, and office supplies
- Perform filing, typing, data input, and other clerical support for various departments
- Answer inquiries, direct calls, and take messages as necessary
- Coordinate and initiate meetings and travel arrangements for the Department
- Maintain supervisor's calendar and schedule meetings and conference rooms
- Compose, edit, and distribute letters, memos, reports, and other departmental correspondence
- Provide support by photocopying, filing, and sending faxes
Requirements
- Associate degree in Business Administration or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in office administrative work
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Computer, filing, and 10-key skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business Administration or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in office administrative work, or a combination of education, training, and relevant experience
