The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) provides direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs at PAM Health, focusing on the rehabilitation of chronically and critically ill patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients
- Adhere to the principles and practices of occupational therapy within the PAM Health system
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities
Requirements
- Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- One year of clinical experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn
- One year of clinical experience
