This Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) role involves providing direct patient care and implementing treatment programs for chronically and critically ill patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients
- Adhere to the principles and practices of occupational therapy within the PAM Health system
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the system within various facilities
Requirements
- Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- One year of clinical experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Prior inpatient hospital experience
- One year of clinical experience
Certifications
Current BLS certification
