Occupational Therapist (OT)

About This Role

Provide high-quality occupational therapy for young children with autism in a center-based, early intervention ABA program. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate superior treatment outcomes and help learners maximize their potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality Occupational Therapy to young learners with autism
• Collaborate with clinicians on case management
• Meet weekly forty, 30-minute session billable hour requirement
• Maintain a caseload with a weekly billable hour requirement

Requirements

• Masters Degree
• Valid state licensing for practice
• Experience with early intervention and working with children with autism
• Strong and fluid writing and oral competence
• Enthusiasm to make a difference working with young children and their families
• Ability to maintain caseload with weekly billable hour requirement
• Exceptional ability in building trusting relationships and maintaining confidentiality
• Commitment to learn and pursue professional development
• Strong knowledge of OT principles
• Strong leadership qualities
• Demonstration of professionalism and adherence to Ally policy
• Effective communication skills
• Multi-tasking & time management
• Creative solutions to problems with the ability to quickly adapt
• Patience and calm demeanor in stressful situations
• Strong performance in team settings & collaboration with others

Qualifications

• Masters Degree required
• Experience with early intervention and working with children with autism
