The Clinical Director (BCBA) provides leadership and organizational management, overseeing therapeutic services and client programs. This role focuses on fostering the long-term development of clinical programming and guiding staff in their professional growth within an early intervention Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy program.
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each client and communicate goals/progress with Behavior Technician teams
- Meet weekly 15 billable hour requirement as Clinical Director
- Lead intake meetings with new clients and families
- Conduct and score initial and ongoing case assessments using appropriate tools
- Train and supervise an average caseload of 3 clients and Technicians at capacity
- Provide supervision for BCBAs/BCaBAs and Behavior Technicians
- Develop parent training goals and lead parent training meetings
- Collaborate with Speech and Occupational Therapists for shared clients
- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children as necessary
- Maintain strict client confidentiality following HIPAA protocol
- Maintain open communication with families and clinical teams for effective treatment
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Valid state licensing for practice location(s)
- 5+ years of BCBA experience supervising behavior technicians in ABA therapy for children with autism
- 5+ years of managerial and training experience
- Ability to be on-site from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a federal, state, and county background check
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- 5+ years of BCBA experience supervising behavior technicians in providing ABA therapy to children with autism and 5+ years of demonstrated managerial and training experience
