Direct and provide leadership to nursing staff on the NOC shift, ensuring the well-being of Pleasant View Nursing Home residents. This role involves overseeing nursing activities, coordinating resident care, and maintaining compliance with regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the nursing team in a professional and positive manner
- Direct nursing activities on the Night shift, assigning and monitoring staff tasks
- Assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services
- Perform duties including assessment, care planning, and follow through of physician rounds
- Provide requested reports for the facility’s quality assurance program
- Participate in surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies
- Complete accident/incident and skin injury reports and investigate root causes
- Communicate with Medical Providers regarding changes in resident condition
- Report and investigate all allegations of resident abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property
- Share weekend on-call rotation with other nursing management staff
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree or diploma in nursing
- Valid Wisconsin RN license
- Five years nursing experience
- Two years in a supervisory capacity
- Excellent attendance record

- Five years nursing experience and two years in a supervisory capacity, or equivalent combination of education and experience
