Nursing Aide - Assisted Living/Memory Care

About This Role

Join Thorne Crest Senior Living Community as a Nursing Aide in Assisted Living or Memory Care to assist residents with daily living tasks, medication passing, and compassionate dementia support. This role provides an opportunity to develop meaningful relationships and make a direct impact on residents' lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating)
• Pass medications and monitor resident conditions
• Support residents with dementia with compassion and respect
• Assist with mobility, activities, and maintaining a clean environment
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members
• Document care using computers, iPads, and electronic charting systems

Requirements

• Must be 17 years or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
• Complete at least 12 hours of annual in-service education and all required training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year of experience preferred, but not required; training provided.
