This role is for a professional Registered Nurse specializing in oncology, providing education, consultation, and research to help patients and their families make informed decisions and access timely healthcare throughout the cancer care continuum.
Responsibilities
- Provide education, consultation, and research to patients and families
- Assist patients and families in making informed decisions about cancer care
- Ensure timely access to healthcare throughout the cancer care continuum
- Demonstrate accountability, collaboration, autonomy, and leadership within the role
- Exhibit clinical competency in caring for patients across the life cycle as per specialty population
Requirements
- Current license as RN in the state of Ohio
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPR certification
- Skill in coordinating care needs
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
Nice to Have
- Oncology nursing experience
- Oncology Navigation Certification (to be obtained within the first year)
