The Neurotech Aide is an unlicensed multi-skilled worker who supports both patient and non-patient care activities by preparing patients and exam rooms for neurodiagnostic procedures, managing patient records, and scheduling appointments. This role coordinates communication between patients and providers.
Responsibilities
- Support patient care and non-patient care activities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for neurodiagnostic procedures
- Manage patient records
- Schedule appointments
- Coordinate communication between patients and providers
- Assist in patient care delegated by a licensed Neurotechnologist
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
Nice to Have
- Associate's Degree
- Six (6) months previous hospital experience
- Six (6) months pediatric experience
- Strong organizational abilities
- Self-motivating
- Shows initiative
- Enthusiasm for learning/growing
Certifications
BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
