Network Management Specialist

About This Role

Manage all aspects of an assigned SCMG provider region, working closely with the physician network and affiliated healthcare entities to recruit, orient, and service providers. Ensure provider adherence to policies and timely resolution of issues.

Responsibilities

• Professionally manages all aspects of an assigned SCMG provider region
• Recruit, orient, and provide ongoing service to providers
• Ensure provider adherence to policies and procedures of SCMG and affiliated health plans
• Identify and resolve provider issues or concerns in a timely manner
• Maintain and enhance relationships with Providers (including ancillary) and office staff
• Oversee activities and coordinates projects within the Network Management Department
• Coordinate the production and dissemination of necessary reports and surveys
• Conduct on and off-site training sessions for new and existing Providers and office staff

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years IPA or related experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand computer hardware and software applications
• Able to demonstrate specific technical knowledge related to LAN/WAN configurations and multiple practice management systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet technologies
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to speak in front of large groups

Qualifications

• Associate's degree related field (equivalent from two-year college or technical school may substitute)
• 5 years IPA or related experience
