About This Role

Serve as a multi-functional member of the patient care team, supporting RN staff by organizing and facilitating basic patient care activities, performing unit secretary functions, and conducting 12-lead EKGs.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating basic patient care activities, unit secretary functions, performing 12 lead EKG’s, and functioning as a Monitor Tech
• Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensed in Georgia as a C.N.A., Medical Assistant, or EMT
• Basic Life Support certification
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Certified EKG or ECG Technician (CET) preferred
