MRI Technologist Traveler

About This Role

As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will perform high-quality, patient-centered MRI studies across northern Michigan, contributing to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. You will operate state-of-the-art MRI scanners and collaborate with medical teams while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams, including organ, system, and blood-flow imaging
• Operate state-of-the-art MRI scanners and ancillary equipment to produce clear, accurate diagnostic results
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam, explaining procedures, positioning patients, and monitoring for distress
• Practice strict MRI safety standards, including screening, safe room setup, and contrast administration
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing teams to deliver seamless, high-quality care
• Mentor and orient students, residents, or new technologists as needed

Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved certification exam through ARRT, ARMRIT, ARDMS, or NMTCB
• Maintained good standing in certification
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Current BLS certification with biannual renewal
• Ability to administer IV contrast and adhere to all MRI safety policies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience (2+ years preferred)
