This Medical Assistant Regional Float position involves providing clinical and administrative support across various medical specialties within Munson Healthcare's Ambulatory System in Cadillac and Manistee, MI. The role ensures efficient patient care and clinic operations, offering exposure to diverse healthcare environments.
Responsibilities
- Work on assignment within the Ambulatory System, covering over 100 clinics in Northern Michigan
- Expand knowledge in different specialties such as Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, Heart & Vascular, Oncology Services, etc.
- Complete clinical tasks within the clinic
- Complete administrative tasks within the clinic
- Work alongside providers to ensure patient care and smooth clinic operations
- Possibly provide coverage on weekends, including day shifts on Saturday and Sunday
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant required
