Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Finance Senior Consultant

About This Role

This role involves understanding client business processes, modeling them into ERP systems, and leveraging product strengths to meet requirements and bridge gaps. You will manage end-to-end implementations of D365 F&O and design comprehensive solutions, ensuring industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Understand the client’s business and model processes into the ERP
• Leverage product strengths to meet requirements and bridge gaps, bringing value to clients
• Manage end to end implementations of D365 F&O
• Design end-to-end solutions, providing industry best processes
• Interact daily with counterparts
• Build the company’s tools and assets
• Improve delivery processes
• Select software and ISVs
• Train on new versions and tools to maintain up-to-date knowledge
• Provide deep domain expertise in one or more vertical industries
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions leveraging platforms and products
• Lead the activities of project workstreams, including planning, design, and refinement sessions
• Configure D365, coordinate cross-functional activities, and maintain documentation on workstream progress
• Oversee workstream testing activities and manage Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions related to the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment (large or boutique consulting firm, or internal consultant within industry)
• 5+ years of MS Dynamics 365 F&O experience
• 3+ full-life cycle implementations in Finance or Operations
• Deep functional skills in D365 Finance
• Experience in business requirement documentation & design documentation
• Experienced in preparing and leading workshops with key stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment or as an internal consultant within industry, with 5+ years of MS Dynamics 365 F&O experience

• Data migration tools and processes within Dynamics 365 experience
• Experience with D365 SCM
