MES Solution Architect Manager

About This Role

As a MES Solution Architect Manager, you will serve as a strategic advisor, architect, and implementer, driving business transformations by leveraging your deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems. You will lead discussions with senior leaders and business stakeholders to translate needs into MES functionality, ensuring scalable technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discussions with senior leaders on functional solutions within MES
• Lead discussions with business to understand needs, translating requirements into MES functionality
• Collaborate with technical architects to ensure technically feasible and scalable technology application solutions
• Perform high-level functional and technical architecture, analysis, research, and design for MES solutions
• Deliver complex projects in a fast-paced, team environment
• Promote and participate in forums for sharing expertise and resolving clients' challenges
• Collaborate on innovative solutions to bolster the future of the practice
• Develop knowledge of and gain project experience in MES's newest and future solutions

Requirements

• 7+ years of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience
• 5+ years experience implementing MES (Apriso/Opcenter/Aveva) technology application solutions (solution design, install, configuration, setup, integration, upgrades)
• 5 years experience in business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional process design, data mapping, developing functional/technical specification documentation, system configuration, system testing (INT, UAT), solution delivery, customer support, process document creation/review, and working with onsite/offshore delivery models
• Experience using analytics and metrics to assess Manufacturing Performance
• Experience leading 2+ MES implementations and System Architecture
• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience, with 5+ years implementing MES (Apriso/Opcenter/Aveva) technology application solutions.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields with a concentration in operations or analytics
• Prior Consulting experience
• 3+ years of experience working with the (Apriso/Opcenter/Aveva) platform
• Certification provided by software vendor
• Experience presenting on complex topics in a clear, concise, and effective manner
• Strong analytical skills, data mining knowledge, and proficiency in handling and processing large volumes of data
• Ability to identify key insights and critical thinking
• Ability to communicate technical or software usage concepts to audiences with limited background
• Ability to drive and work in cross-functional teams, distributed across locations and time zones
• Experience leading a project team in a project client environment
