MES Solution Architect Manager

About This Role

This role involves leading and delivering transformational MES solutions as a strategic advisor, architect, and implementer, driving business transformations for clients by utilizing operational expertise, digital technologies, and advanced analytics in Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discussions with senior leaders on functional solutions within MES (Manufacturing Execution System) space
• Lead discussions with business to understand needs and requirements, translating them into MES functionality, and collaborating with technical architects to ensure feasible and scalable solutions
• Perform high-level functional and technical architecture, analysis, research, and design for MES solutions
• Deliver complex projects in a fast-paced, team environment
• Promote and participate in forums for sharing expertise, strengthening Deloitte's collective knowledge, and helping to resolve clients' challenges
• Collaborate on innovative solutions to bolster the future of the practice
• Develop knowledge of and gain project experience in MES's newest and future solutions

Requirements

• 7+ years of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience
• 5+ years of experience implementing MES (Apriso/Opcenter/Aveva) technology application solutions (solution design, install, configuration, setup, integration, and upgrades)
• 5 years of experience conducting business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional process design, data mapping, developing functional and technical specification documentation, system configuration, system testing (INT,UAT) and solution delivery, customer support, process document creations and review, working with onsite and offshore delivery model
• Experience using analytics and metrics to assess Manufacturing Performance and identify and quantify improvement opportunities
• Experience Leading 2+ MES implementations and System Architecture
• Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields with a concentration in operations or analytics
• Prior Consulting experience
• 3+ years of experience working with the (Apriso/Opcenter/Aveva) platform
• Certification provided by software vendor
• Experience presenting on complex topics in a clear, concise, and effective manner
• Strong analytical skills, data mining knowledge, and proficiency in handling and processing large volumes of data
• Ability to identify key insights and critical thinking to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks
• Ability to communicate technical, or software usage concepts to audiences with limited background / knowledge on the subject
• Ability to drive and work in cross-functional teams, distributed across locations and time zones and across multiple hierarchy levels
• Experience leading a project team in a project client environment
