Mergers and Acquisitions IT Integration & Divestitures Senior Consultant

About This Role

Guide clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives, providing end-to-end support in M&A IT integration and divestitures. Execute M&A IT transactions to achieve seamless transitions and maximize value for clients.

Responsibilities

• Advise, implement, and deliver transformative solutions to optimize client IT activities due to transactions, restructuring, and strategic cost transformation events
• Provide subject matter knowledge across critical IT components (e.g., infrastructure, applications, IT operations, IT finances, Active Directory, end-user computing, messaging, enterprise architecture, testing)
• Perform business process analysis, mapping, and design for M&A projects focused on IT work streams (e.g., IT infrastructure separation, data center migration, application integration/separation/rationalization, IT synergies/cost reduction)
• Synthesize overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions and selecting relevant tools/techniques for client requirements (e.g., business case, pricing, complex financial analysis)
• Interpret and report on outputs, participating in setting engagement objectives and scope
• Develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope
• Design deliverable content to reflect engagement contract and client needs, working alongside Managers
• Improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results, serving as trusted advisors to corporate and private equity clients
• Help clients navigate complex market and economic conditions to become prepared buyers or sellers, incorporating divestment goals and planning for seamless execution
• Focus on integration & divestiture activities particular to the information technology function, including end-state system architecture, application rationalization, and system or data migration

Requirements

• 4+ years of M&A IT and Divestiture or M&A IT Integration and Divestiture Service Delivery Experience
• 4+ years of experience specializing in one area of Information Technology
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to travel up to 50%

• Ability to apply practical experience with communications, culture, and change management
• Ability to perform analysis and synthesize data into useful insights
• Eagerness to mentor junior staff
