Mergers and Acquisitions IT Integration & Divestitures Senior Consultant

About This Role

This role will guide clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives by executing Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) IT transactions, ensuring seamless transitions, and maximizing value. The Senior Consultant will advise, implement, and deliver transformative solutions to optimize IT activities due to transactions, restructuring, and strategic cost transformations.

Responsibilities

• Advise, implement, and deliver transformative solutions to clients to optimize their IT activities due to a pending/completed transaction, restructuring and strategic cost transformation event
• Provide subject matter knowledge across critical components of IT (e.g., infrastructure, applications, IT operations, IT finances and expenses, Active Directory, end-user computing, messaging, enterprise architecture, testing)
• Perform business process analysis, mapping, and design for M&A projects focused on an IT work stream including IT infrastructure separation, data center migration, application integration/separation/rationalization, or IT synergies/cost reduction
• Assist in synthesizing overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions and selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements
• Interpret and report on outputs, including business case, pricing or complex financial analysis
• Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements
• Coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope
• Design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contract and client needs, working alongside Managers
• Strive to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results, serving as trusted advisors to corporate and private equity clients

Requirements

• 4+ years of M&A IT and Divestiture or M&A IT Integration and Divestiture Service Delivery Experience
• 4+ years of experience specializing in one area of Information Technology
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years consulting and/or industry experience; alternatively, an MBA with 2+ years relevant work experience
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MBA with relevant work experience
• 4+ years of M&A IT and Divestiture or M&A IT Integration and Divestiture Service Delivery Experience, with 4+ years specializing in one area of Information Technology

• Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams
