Mergers and Acquisitions IT Integration & Divestitures Senior Consultant

About This Role

The Mergers and Acquisitions IT Integration & Divestitures Senior Consultant will advise, implement, and deliver transformative solutions to clients, optimizing their IT activities due to transactions, restructurings, and strategic cost transformation events. This role involves performing business process analysis, mapping, and design for M&A projects with a focus on IT workstreams. Senior Consultants will assist in synthesizing overall strategy, selecting relevant tools, and interpreting and reporting on outputs while working closely with managers to design deliverable content.

Responsibilities

• Advise, implement, and deliver transformative solutions to clients to optimize their IT activities due to pending/completed transactions, restructuring, and strategic cost transformation events.
• Provide subject matter knowledge across critical components of IT (e.g., infrastructure, applications, IT operations, IT finances and expenses, Active Directory, end-user computing, messaging, enterprise architecture, testing).
• Perform business process analysis, mapping, and design for M&A projects focused on an IT workstream (IT infrastructure separation, data center migration, application integration/separation/rationalization, or IT synergies/cost reduction).
• Assist in synthesizing overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions and selecting relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements.
• Interpret and report on outputs, including business cases, pricing, or complex financial analysis.
• Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams, and identifying changes in scope.
• Design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contract and client needs, working alongside Managers.
• Improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results, serving as trusted advisors to corporate and private equity clients.

Requirements

• 4+ years of M&A IT and Divestiture or M&A IT Integration and Divestiture Service Delivery Experience
• 4+ years of experience specializing in one area of Information Technology
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years consulting and/or industry experience; alternatively, an MBA with 2+ years relevant work experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MBA
• 4+ years of M&A IT Integration and Divestiture Service Delivery Experience, with specialization in one area of Information Technology. Alternatively, an MBA with 2+ years of relevant work experience.

• Knowledge of Cloud Migration/Standup
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
