Merchandising Specialist

About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining the appearance and stock levels of the front sales floor/showroom area by stocking, fronting, and cleaning merchandise. The specialist will greet customers, assist with sales preparations, and ensure a professional retail appearance.

Responsibilities

• Keep front sales floor/showroom area stocked, fronted, and clean
• Complete sales preparations and greet customers on the sales floor
• Ensure the retail showroom presents a professional and inviting appearance
• Assist customers in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist
• Check in, price, and put up stock
• Change displays according to company guidelines and update planograms
• Complete price label changes and ensure sale signs are in place
• Remove all sale material when sale ends and restore original pricing
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns
• Work with manager to complete store weekly inventory and merchandising tasks

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to clearly read, write, and match numbers and letters from various sources
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Nice to Have

• Previous stocking experience
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
