About This Role

This part-time Medical Staff Admin Assistant position provides administrative support to OR Surgeons within the Medical Staff Office, including project coordination, documentation management, and communication facilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Ensure project deadlines are met
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
  • Create a project management calendar to fulfill each goal and objective

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 0-1 year of project support or administrative experience
  • Knowledgeable of basic business administrative principles and project management best practices
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of file management and other administrative procedures

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
  • 0-1 year of project support or administrative experience required

Nice to Have

  • Associate's Degree Related Field of Study
  • Experience providing administrative support/collaborating with medical personnel including surgeons, midwives, nurses, etc.
  • Experience with Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs
