About This Role

As a Medical Office Support professional at High Lakes Gynecology, you will manage front office operations with outstanding customer service, ensuring smooth patient flow and administrative tasks in a women's healthcare setting. This role supports a dedicated team and contributes to a stable and supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, screen, and schedule patients
  • Input correct patient information into electronic health records and other support services platforms
  • Perform clerical duties related to clinical service and administrative inquiries
  • Manage high volumes of reception duties, including answering and screening telephone communication
  • Obtain, verify, and update patient information and provide support services to patients and medical staff
  • Assist in medical record maintenance, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws
  • Ensure scheduling accuracy for optimal provider and patient time
  • Contribute to internal communication through multiple software programs
  • Maintain files and assist in establishing office systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of medical front office experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1+ years of medical front office experience in a high-volume setting (2+ years preferred)

  • 2+ years of medical front office experience
