The Medical Assistant will ensure efficient patient flow and uphold high care standards by performing general patient care tasks, including vital signs, specimen collection, and injections. This role also involves administrative duties like answering phones, managing physician schedules, and ordering supplies.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of care
- Perform a variety of general patient care responsibilities
- Measure and record vital signs
- Collect specimens
- Administer injections
- Answer phones
- Maintain physician schedules
- Order supplies
- Perform other administrative duties
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience
- Certified Medical Assistant for designated practices
- American Heart Association BLS Card
