Mechanical Designer

About This Role

This role is for a Mechanical Designer with building systems experience, responsible for designing mechanical systems and collaborating with project teams to ensure technical expectations and project schedules are met.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems
• Collaborate with project manager, discipline lead engineer, and team members
• Assure technical expectations, schedule, and manpower budgets are met for assigned engineering tasks
• Organize work and multi-task

Requirements

• Experience in designing mechanical systems (specific systems not listed)
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
• Thorough understanding of coordination aspects of all design disciplines and their impact on projects
• Team-oriented problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
• Ability to organize work and multi-task
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Associate's Degree or studies toward a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an Engineering-related curriculum from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 5 years' experience specific to building systems
