About This Role

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking skilled Mechanical and Piping Insulators to apply insulating materials to mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping to control and maintain temperature. This role ensures compliance with relevant codes and safety standards for ongoing work at King's Bay Naval Base, GA.

Responsibilities

• Apply insulating materials to mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping to control and maintain temperature
• Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with team members to meet project milestones and quality standards
• Adhere to all safety protocols and implement best practices in support of RQ Construction's Mission, Vision, and Values

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 4 or more years of field or trade work experience as a journey-level mechanical piping insulator

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimum education required
• 4 or more years of field or trade work experience as a journey-level mechanical piping insulator in a commercial, or facilities operations setting

Nice to Have

• Completion of a Union, private (in-house), military, or trade school apprenticeship program
• Government, military, or large commercial construction experience
