Material Handler

About This Role

This role involves performing physical and administrative tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storing, distribution, and order fulfillment of merchandise and materials. The Material Handler will ensure accurate record-keeping, safe equipment operation, and support production team needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store merchandise, products, and materials
• Package and prepare items for shipment, maintaining accurate records
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely
• Lift and move items up to 40 lbs consistently
• Review customer orders and distribute materials to appropriate areas
• Support production with staging and other warehouse-related tasks
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards
• Perform administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment
• Check incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices
• Empty trash bins into baler and oversee recycling program

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift 40 lbs consistently
• Attention to detail

• Self-motivated
• Highly organized with strong workflow management skills
