Material Handler

About This Role

Join our dynamic distribution team as an experienced Hi-Lo driver, responsible for unloading trucks, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks using a stand-up or sit-down forklift and picker
• Take inventory of products and verify quantity and quality of order against purchase order
• Perform quality control on items by checking for damaged goods
• Document orders and transactions
• Conduct inventory transactions using RF units
• Properly rotate, store, and package materials/items
• Pick and label orders for shipment to KV manufacturing facility
• Request assistance for items heavier than 50 lbs.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Monitor safety and mechanical aspects of the forklift and picker equipment

Requirements

• 2 years of recent forklift driving experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Computer and RF Scanner experience or ability and willingness to learn
• Ability to efficiently work in a high paced environment
• Speak, read, write, and understand basic English
