Material Handler Forklift Operator

About This Role

Operate stand-up forklifts to perform various warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, and shipping, for Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Minster, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote, stage, load, and unload products
• Handle daily paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work using health and safety methods
• Available to work on a flexible schedule on various work shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
