About This Role

The Marketing Coordinator will execute daily confirmation processes, update marketing software components, and prepare monthly gas sales invoices. This role supports the Marketing team by reconciling sales volumes, assisting with daily nominations, and providing data to other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the daily confirmation process by reconciling QCM entries with counterparty confirms and resolving discrepancies via email
  • Update marketing software components including tariff rates, sales terms, invoice adjustments, AMA fees and RSG adjustments
  • Prepare and validate monthly gas sales invoices by reviewing volumes, sales terms, tariff components
  • Reconcile sales meter volumes against imbalance statements and sales invoices
  • Review counterparty purchase statements and reconcile against Seneca invoices
  • Assist in daily pipeline nominations, monitoring imbalances, and verifying transportation allocations
  • Schedule Sales Volumes (Daily or Long Term) on Pipeline Electronic websites or applications
  • Assist the accounting department in processing revenue and transportation accruals
  • Provide marketing data and insights to support other departments
  • Communicate with operations teams regarding market prices, gas flows, and curtailments

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a business-related field with 1-3 years of gas industry or business experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while managing time-sensitive operational tasks

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in a business-related field or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 1-3 years of gas industry or business experience

Nice to Have

  • Natural gas industry experience
  • Familiarity with QCM/QGM or similar energy trading systems
  • Knowledge of pipeline operations, firm transportation, and gas market dynamics
