About This Role

Lead, train, and develop a manufacturing team on the 3rd shift, ensuring production schedule completion and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on process improvement and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities

  • Manage processes by simplifying complex tasks and optimizing workflow efficiency
  • Facilitate customer audits, form control, and onboarding tasks
  • Develop direct reports through challenging assignments and constructive feedback
  • Establish direction, distribute workload, and communicate clearly to the team
  • Track and assign responsibilities, set clear objectives, and provide feedback on work
  • Supervise orientation and ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and regulatory requirements
  • Utilize the Performance Management Discussion (PMD) process for direct report development
  • Direct daily workload to ensure schedule completion while managing utilization and efficiency
  • Build and develop a disciplined workforce adhering to procedures and Work Instruction Documents
  • Improve production processes using PPI (Particle Process Improvement) tools

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2 year post high school education or applicable industry experience
  • 1 year experience leading a team in a professional work environment
