Manufacturing Engineering Technician

About This Role

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician assists manufacturing engineers with administrative duties and production support, focusing on lean manufacturing, process documentation, tooling, and process improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist MEs with establishing lean manufacturing in production cells
• Work with production associates to identify and correct issues with process documentation
• Modify, edit, and update manufacturing procedures and perform document change procedures
• Generate purchase and fabrication requests for production tooling and equipment
• Collect and report production process data
• Generate engineering work orders
• Assist MEs with the design and implementation of tooling and process improvement projects
• Assist MEs with engineering analysis (failure mode and effects analysis, process hazard analysis etc.)
• Execute and summarize engineering studies/experiments including coordination and oversight of engineering/pre-production builds
• Make recommendations for production process improvements

Requirements

• 2-3 years related experience
• Computer competency with Microsoft Office Apps
• Willingness and ability to travel to Hollister, CA up to 75% during the first 90 days for training and onboarding
• High school diploma, or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• 2-3 years related experience

Nice to Have

• Two-year technical degree
