Lead a team of Business Development Representatives, Business Development Managers, or Account Executives at Salesforce, selling the Customer Success Platform across multiple verticals and driving business growth. This role involves formulating and implementing sales strategies, reporting on team and individual results, and developing team members for future Account Executive positions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Business Development Representatives, Business Development Managers, or Account Executives
- Sell the entire Salesforce Customer Success Platform across multiple verticals
- Formulate and implement a strategy to increase business growth
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Pre-sales, Partner Alliances, Services, and HR for cross-company engagement
- Develop and lead the team to generate revenue and achieve individual, team, and organizational quotas
- Define and implement plans for assigned Accounts to achieve sales objectives
- Hire, Train, and Develop a team
- Develop teams into sales-ready candidates for future Account Executive positions
- Create Industry Specific Pipeline Programs to drive Pipeline and Revenue
- Motivate Individuals and Team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience developing a team of seven or more quota carrying sales people
- Strong background in leading sales teams
- Proven ability to create high-performing teams and lead them to success
- Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Self-starter that can thrive in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience developing a team of seven or more quota carrying sales people
